How SimplyBRG Works
Step 1: Finding a Group
Finding a Referral Group in your area is easy. On the
Referral Groups page, you will be prompted to enter your profession. Once you have selected a profession, you can begin finding a Group. Referral Groups are built from professionals that live within the same geographical area. So, locate your Group by selecting the area in which you conduct business. You can view the members of the Groups by clicking on “view” or if you wish to join the Referral Group click “join group”.
If there are no Groups in your area, or you do not want to join any of the current Groups, you can start a new Referral Group by clicking “Create Group”. If you choose to start a new Group, we will immediately begin finding other professionals in your area to join your group. Of course, you can always refer people to join your group (or any group).
After you find a group to join or if you choose to start a new group, you will be required to create an account. Creating an account is easy, simply fill out the form with the correct information. You will also need to read the terms of service and agree to the terms. When you create your account, you can upload a profile picture if you wish. You can change your profile picture at any time. Other members will not have access to your private profile information. The only information that will be shared with other members are your name, profession, picture, website, business name, and an "about me". Your email or other private information will not be shared.
Step 3: Using the Site
Once you have found a Referral Group to join and have registered an account, you can begin using SimplyBRG. Your default page will be your Referral Group’s home page (called MyGroup). From there you can navigate the site to check your messages, change your account info, review your referrals, send messages, and send referrals. Here is a screen shot of the MyGroup page:
Step 4: Sending and Receiving Referrals
The main purpose of SimplyBRG is to pass and receive referrals. On your MyGroup page, you will see a list of the members in your group and their profession. To send a referral to a member of your group, click on “Send Referral” next to their name. You will then be asked to complete a form with the name, phone number, and other information from the person you are referring.
If you receive a referral from another member of SimplyBRG, you will receive a notification email. You can also choose to receive referral notifications via text message. This option must manually be activated in your
Account Settings page. When you receive one of these notifications, you will need to log into SimplyBRG to view the referral information. Once you confirm that this is a legitimate referral, you can update the status of the referral to "confirmed". And again to "completed" once you have received business from the referral.
The referrals you have sent and have received are tracked. The number of referrals you have sent and received is displayed on your “MyGroup” page. You can be eligible to win a prize for being one of the most active members sending referrals.

Step 5: Referring Members to SimplyBRG
Referring other people to join SimplyBRG is easy. On the side bar at the right of any page, there is a "Refer a New Member" box, where you can enter their email address. The person will receive an email from SimplyBRG requesting they join and stating that you recommended them. The email will have a link they can click on which will take them to join SimplyBRG.
Step 6: Winning Prizes
At SimplyBRG, we understand the survival of a Referral Group is dependent upon its members sending referrals. We want to make sure our members have extra incentive to send referrals so we have instituted a referral competition where prizes will be awarded to some of our top referral senders. Once you have joined a group, we will track the referrals you have sent to other members. Every three months we will take the top 25 members who have sent the most referrals and randomly select 4 members. Each winner will recieve a $25 gift card. At the end of the year we will take the top 100 referral senders and randomly select 3 people to receive prizes such as HDTVs, Laptops, Gift Cards and more. The prizes for the current year will be listed on our site under our “Earn Prizes and Money” page.
